Call to action

The celebrations marking the bicentenary of Alessandro Volta are not just a packed programme of events: they are a collective project, an opportunity to turn a historic anniversary into a vibrant, shared experience that is open to the local community.

Through these calls to action, the celebrations move beyond institutional venues and become part of everyday life in the city: an invitation extended to residents, volunteers, associations, cultural organisations and local businesses, each contributing according to their own skills, energy and passions.

Volta’s legacy – characterised by curiosity, inventiveness and a forward-looking spirit – can only be fully understood and experienced through broad, inclusive and collective participation. That is why we want the Bicentenary to be an experience we build together, where every contribution counts.

Find out how to participate: you can request financial or non-financial sponsorship, volunteer your time and skills, or contribute as a business owner by promoting the Bicentennial in urban spaces. Three different ways, one goal: to ignite Volta’s energy together and spread it throughout the city.

Join the team of volunteers and support the Voltian Celebrations 2026–2027, becoming an active part of the cultural events of the 200VOLTeVOLTA programme.
