What activities will 200VOLTeVOLTA volunteers be able to carry out?
Volunteers are the heart and soul of major cultural events. In this two-year period of great celebrations for our city, we want citizens to be protagonists in the events and experiences we are organising to celebrate a figure whose discoveries have left their mark on humanity.
Participating as a volunteer in 200VOLTeVOLTA means making yourself available for certain activities that will be proposed by the Volta Foundation in relation to the needs that arise.
- Reception of speakers/guests and audience
- Events service (organising queues, checking admissions, ensuring the success of each meeting, responsibility for event management)
- Audio-video recordings of the meetings
- Photographs of events
- Event promotion (leafleting, distribution of materials, billposting)
- Staff support

Here is the form to fill out to participate as volunteers in the celebrations for the bicentenary of the famous scientist Alessandro Volta.
The Alessandro Volta Foundation is looking for volunteers, old hands and eager newcomers with a passion for science and culture who want to play an active role in this cultural initiative that will take over the city of Como (and beyond!) with a packed programme of events over the two-year period 2026-2027. If you are over 18, have at least one day to devote to this experience and want to get involved in creating value for yourself and your city, fill in and submit the form:
- by 30 April 2026 for availability from May 2026 to October 2026;
- by 31 January 2027 for availability in March 2027;
- by 30 April 2027 for availability from May 2027 to October 2027.
